Everyone at Omni wants to congratulate Andrea Bookbinder on receiving the People Development Award at Corning Inc. The award recognizes Andrea for her outstanding commitment to supporting and encouraging the growth and development of her colleagues throughout her career at Corning. She was honored in the individual category.
Andrea, who rides Sweet Pea and Little Chap at Omni, is a supervisor at Corning in the Research Melters organization for Display Technologies Product & Process Development. Her nominations paint a picture of someone who is always willing to listen, help, and provide helpful and supportive feedback. "She demonstrates a fundamental belief and trust in people by actively seeking different thoughts, ideas, and approaches," wrote one colleague. Another said, "She is always quick to respond with words of encouragement and recognition...when she says, 'Good Job!' you know she truly means it."
That is definitely our experience of Andrea at Omni. We are thankful for her positive, forthright, and encouraging approach toward both people and horses. Congratulations Andrea!!!
