Letter from Cassie: "On February 12, 2011 our guy Dancer suffered a stroke. He couldn't get his hind legs to work to get up but he sure tried. Lots of heart right to the end. Fortunately his good friend Dr. Hannah Smith wasn't far away and got here to help. We sent him to the big sleep with his buddy Casino by his side. Dancer was 31.
Dancer came to me at the age of 14 from a lesson barn in Rochester. He was started on the race track but I'm sure he was too slow for that job. I think his life only got better as he grew up and got older. He really loved living on the hill. When we moved here and he was turned out with his best friend Frisco, he absolutely smiled (and would not come to the gate!) I like to think he and Frisco are in a a big lush field with someone to frustrate with their mischief together! A sense of humor is a necessity in life and those two had that in spades! So rest well old friend - you certainly have earned your place above."

Cassie, it just doesn't seem right without Frisco and Dancer peeking out of those two front stalls. The are both so missed! From the Neumayers
